Breckenridge Delays Opening Day and Keystone Announces Opening Day

Posted by JanL on November 5, 2014

Due to the unseasonably warm weather, the Breckenridge Ski Resort will cause a delay in the resort's opening on November 7, 2014. The resort will announce an opening day early next week in order to provide skiers and riders an experience that is fun and safe from the beginning of the 2014-15 ski season.

The resort will provide daily updates at Breckenridge.com/2014OpeningDay and will announce a revised opening early next week.

The 2014-15 Keystone Resort ski season will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 7.  While waiting for first chair, enjoy warm dounut holes made by Keystone's pastry chef Ned Archibald, as well as hot chocolate and coffee at the base of River Run Gondola.

The weekend’s festivities will continue Saturday evening at the Get Stoked movie festival at Warren Station, located in the heart of Keystone’s River Run Village. Celebrating some of the best women in snow sports with the premier of Unicorn Picnic’s “Pretty Faces”, Warren Station will host a 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. showing of the groundbreaking film. Proceeds from the film will benefit Team Breck Sports Club and Team Summit and audience members may enjoy drink specials and giveaways throughout the evening. Tickets available at this location.
